his is a compact electromagnetic lock that operates on 12V power. It’s very easy to use—simply apply power, and the slug will retract (unlock). Once the power is removed, the slug will return to its original position (lock).

The lock features a slanted slug, which can be adjusted by loosening two Phillips-head screws and rotating it 90, 180, or 270 degrees to suit your door configuration.

When controlling the lock with an MCU, an external 12V DC power source is required. We offer a DC-DC booster module that can step up 5V to 12V, and it has a pin that connects to the MCU’s GPIO. Setting the pin to HIGH will activate the output, while setting it to LOW will turn it off.
